Valhalla was started to support entities seeking to further their value-based care partnerships and strategies. As a firm, we believe:

Steve Miller

After nearly a decade of leading teams supporting antiterrorism missions across the globe in the U.S. Navy, Steven entered the healthcare industry focused on furthering value-based care payment models and partnerships at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. Within his role at Blue Cross, he partnered across the enterprise developing new value-based care strategies and innovative payment models from the ground up, as well as assessing, establishing, and overseeing the execution of value-based care partnerships with a variety of care entities including both traditional and non-traditional providers. He has personally negotiated and contracted multi-billion-dollar full risk partnerships supporting hundreds of thousands of members across the nation.

 

His experience also encompasses spearheading the day-to-day integration of a growth-stage value-based care enablement company into a large, well-established health plan, as well as providing consultation and advisory services to three other health plans entering the Medicare Advantage and value-based care space.

 

Steven holds his Master of Business Administration from The Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
